Purple Kush
Purple Kush is a primarily indica marijuana hybrid. The high is strong and sedative at
times. Purple Kush was named a the tenth best strain of the year by Hightimes Magazine in
2006. The smoke has a musky fruity flavor of grapes and blackberrys. The strain
has a strong distinctive smell and flavor, it’s one of my personal favorites.

By the way Purple Kush is a general name given to any hybrid of kush and a purple plant. I’ve actually had 6 varieties of it now. All of them were somewhat similar in taste and effect though some better than others of course. My favorite has buds that were almost purely purple, although I’ve had great buds with no purple visable at all.
I have never tried any purple strain bud. I have never in person seen Purple bud, always hints but never covered purple.
Man i would love to try some, isnt the world of marijuana just so beautiful?

yeah i am a big fan of the indica high, especially the kush high. kush gives me pressure around my eyes and visual distortion like no other strain ever has.. It also gives a body feeling similar to an opiate. it’s quite amazing.

purple kush always is on the dry side and burns very fast. i just had 1/4 oz of it and although we did smoke it fast, it burned double the speed of most buds. the nugs are very fragile and there’s a tinge or purple throughout the bud. most wont look like that pic because it has to be crossed with something to be that purple, gotta love bud shots that loook fake cause you know it must be insane to see that beauty in person. im going to be adding a review of northern lights x c99 (Cinderella 99) that i bought crazy hybrid seeds for and i have some insane pics since this is the one i keep cloned and always going.
goodtimez where are you getting your pk from? if the cross involves hindu kush it should be very very dense, sticky, and slow burning. the nugs shouldn’t be the least bit fragile either. that name is associated with a lot of different crosses, it doesn’t sound like you’re getting a very good one because it honestly should be dense and caked like the nug in that picture. maybe not as purple, but all the kush qualities are the opposite of the ones you listed. it should have very thick pungent smoke also if it’s hindu kush.
Connoisseur- the pk i got was from someone i deal with around my area in long island, ny. he told me before hand it was pretty dried out but sold it for a good price. i thought i had the pic labeled from a amsterdam trip but your comment sounds more logical based on the strain and bud itself. didn’t mean to give false information if it was taken that was.
Our Purple Kush is very moist from the grower. Doesn’t dry out as fast as Diesel…both go for $325 an oz. Its does have that laid back feel and do nothing buzz.
