Pot Use Keeps Patient Off Organ Transplant List
Timothy Garon who was a 56 year old musician, was denied a organ transplant because of his medical marijuana use to treat the symptoms of advanced hepatitis C, nausea, abdominal pain and to stimulate his appetite. Garon died Thursday, one week after he got the news from his doctor that a University of Washington Medical Center committee had again denied him a spot on the liver-transplant list.
“He said I’m going to die, with such conviction,” Garon said then. “I’m not angry, I’m not mad, I’m just confused.”

This story is one that truly made me ill. I’m embarrassed to be a part of a society that will sacrifice a dying man because of his DOCTOR APPROVED marijuana use.
I was in the middle of writing an article about this on my own site when I found out that he passed on and it literally brought tears to my eyes. I can’t believe this poor man had to suffer and lose his life when there isn’t even any medically sound reason for them to refuse him in the first place.

It doesn’t make sense! If marijuana was made legal, the country and government would benefit, instead of the “black market” !!
