N.H House Voted 193-141 To Decriminalize Marijuana

The bill that was passed, and now allows people to be able to possess one-quarter ounce or less of marijuana without facing jail time under a bill on it’s way to the state Senate. The house voted 193-141 Tuesday to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana, the punishment is now reduced to a $200 fine, before it was a year in jail and paying a $2,000 fine, ouch! It’s a major relief to the marijuana community in New Hampshire. Marijuana supporters argued that the law right now has a “down the road” impact on the youths’ life, they shouldn’t suffer such harsh consequence’s for a “mistake” as the government sees it.
