What's in your Bowl?

Blue Dream

At first glance this sativa dominant strain is a light tone of green with pale brown/orange hairs. Upon further examination you can see the touches of purple through-out the buds. The smell is very concentrated sweet modernized skunk, the smell or musk from the bud makes your nose have this tingly hot/cold feeling. The smoke tastes of unsweetened salty honey if you can imagine, with a almost warm taste, no cough with a mild lung expansion. Effects are just remarkable, having a numbing vibe go through your body, with your head completely thoughtless, after 2 bong hits I sat motionless for about 2 minutes with bong at hand unable or more like unwilling to move just enjoying the effect. The extremely smooth smoke along with the strength of this strain have easily earned a special place in my heart. It is not stupefying (maybe a little), but complete feeling of relaxation and comfort will be what patients should expect from this strain. Will aid patients in melting stress from body/mind, also helping those with insomnia, and I can be sure for numerous other ailments.

Blue Dream haze is a cross between DJ Short’s Blue Berry and Super Silver Haze. This strain should be taken to at least 10 weeks. Haze characteristics can be identified all through out the growth of the plant.  Bud structure of the blueberry is also noticed with minimal haze structure being airy. The smell is quite sweet almost an even blue/haze mix. Yields of 2 pounds per light can be achieved with a minimal veg period. One should be carful with Phosphorus(P) and Potassium(K) levels near the last weeks before flush.

Purchased from:
Greener Pastures Collective [G.P.C.]

Genetics – ?? ??
Review: I got this strain from Greener Pasture’s Collective, located in West Los Angeles. This is a pretty decent strain, the high comes on after a few minutes, definitely a creeper. The smell of this strain isn’t very strong, none of the cannabis at Greener Pasture’s smelt that strong or smelt not of medicinal quality, and the taste was that of pine/herbs. The look is very nice, thick covering of trich’s, but the smoke is pretty harsh, made me cough for awhile.

NYC Diesel By: “Cakes”

An amazing bud. I’ve heard it disparaged due to it originated from a bag seed but there is no way that someone would say it to it’s face. It’s not the high (although I found it unique) or the yield or the smell that makes it special.. it’s the taste. we are talking an extra dimension same as we found with Godbud. It has the regular beautiful bouquet that all herb has but then it is like if there were a dessert served with that. not an altering of the regular beauty, just an extra separate plate of it. It’s a must try. like black and white tv turned color.

funny thing is, although the taste was like double, the high was almost like half a high. and the other half of the high was found in the other plant. there was two plants i grew and each was a different pheno (although the separation in phenos did not show early). One plant was good to smoke at first but then you needed the other to come down properly without a headache and unsatisfied feeling.

Yield was average old school indica style. none of the heavy budding or mainstem leafage you see on some of today’s hybrids. Buds formed at the ends of branches and matured quickly. a good candidate for one mid-veg pinching. not much advantage to growing it over 18 – 24″ inside (2/3m or less) as long as flavor and high remain full. non-stretchy. good eater. couldn’t take being too alkaline. keeps bud density under fluoros.

Jamaican Sativa …supposedly one of Bob Marley’s favorite strains to puff on.Pungent/puke like smell with a smoke that matches, leaves the room smelling wonderful after a session.Long thinner buds but still pretty dense with a light lime color and orange/red hairs. Great for the first smoke of the day or when you need to conversate, It’s an uplifting high that wont leave you groggy or tired.

This is a very heavy sativa i got to counter the kush and it’s been doin me right in the mornings. Incense like aroma. Very piney taste. Overall great smoke, great strain. A very productive plant of high value as a medicinal herb. Bred for its euphoric, anti-anxiety high, this mostly sativa (approx. 75% Sativa 25% Indica) produces a comfortable and enjoyable, yet powerful, experience. The plants have long branches, making this beauty a great plant for “sea of green” gardens. The quality is in the experience. i would suggest this strain to any patient who is looking for something that will provide pain relief, as well with relief from sleeplessness, and also headaches. this is a very verstile strain. *STRAIN UPDATED

This bud is mainly a sativa, 90% to 10% indica. This bud is fluffy, but quite dense, with a pale white shade of trichomes covering it. The crystals are very long and colored with a light orange to amber coloring. The trichomes make this strain look pale white/green, but not much signs of calyxes in this strain. There is a fresh scent of haze with traits of citrus, almost like an orange. The taste was great with an orange taste and a hazey after burn. It has a very trippy visual high, you can feel it start to creep up on you and takes control of your body and eyes. It has a psychedelic feel throughout the long lasting high with a soft and smooth comedown. Overall, another sativa strain that was pretty impressive.

-Great for headaches
-Long lasting
-THC Content: 14-16%
