Cannabutter

Sunday, March 16th, 2008

Here is something useful you can do with those pesky male plants.

What you will need:
1 stick butter/margarine for every 1/4 ounce Medical Marijuana, or 1/2 ounce of plant material (fan leafs, stalk, etc.)
1 saucepan
1 packet of cheesecloth
1 medium sized bowl

These are some male plants chopped up.
Cooking:
Begin by adding 3 cups of water to the saucepan, let it come to a bowl before adding the stick(s) of butter. As the butter begins to bowl add the buds, turn the heat down so the water stays at a simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes. Let it cool down before you strain it through the cheesecloth into the medium sized bowl, grab some tongs and squeeze the rest of the butter out of the strained remains. Now refrigerate for a couple of hours, or put it in the freezer if you can catch it before the water freezes, a lot more easier to work with if the water is not frozen.

Dank Brownie

 This edible is great…by tfs

This brownie doesn’t stray far from its dank name. It packs a powerful punch that starts to take effect fairly quickly (for an edible) and lasts for several hours. Again, this ranges from person to person, based on his or her size/weight and the amount of food in the stomach at the time of digestion. In my personal case, it lasted for almost four hours. The smell doesn’t signal any potency within. Unfortunately, when eating this little delectable, it doesn’t provide the best chocolate flavor… largely due to the sizable amounts of marijuana mixed in (which you will definitely notice). Just wash it down with a glass of milk and you’ll be good to go. By Chefboyarweed

One thing I wish was on the packaging was the amount of bud used in the recipe and also the strain type. Still, it is well worth it. Overall, a great edible that doesn’t break your wallet and leave you asking, “That’s it?”

If it works for you as it did for me, you’ll be looking to increase your brownie budget.
