Purple Wheelchair is a heavy indica, at first glance it was a dimmly colored bud. Being darker purple in some areas with touches of green, with very light faded orange hairs with a nice coat of trichomes. The bud was airy and some what sticky, the smell was very strong, under-tone sweet grape. After a toke, the smoke was a little on the harsh side, but after taste was not bad. This strain is a couch-lock as the name intends, the effect was very stoney and patients will enjoy this strain most in the night, or before bed.

This light and dark green bud is a nice potent smoke that won’t leave you numbed out. It has very fluffy and dense buds with orange to brown hairs. The leaves are completely covered in trichomes making it look white. The smell is very earthy and fresh, almost hash-like. The effect is smooth and relaxing making my head feel like it was floating with a great visual high. The smoke was a bit harsh but still smooth and tasted like fresh pine. Patients who would benefit the most from this are those who suffer from Glaucoma, Headaches, Migraines, Body aches.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (AP) Authorities have dropped charges against a school psychologist who was arrested on marijuana and child endangerment charges.
Cynthia Anne Norris, 33, and Alexander Balestrero, 30, were arrested in January after officers reportedly found 93 marijuana plants growing in the couple’s Christmas Valley home.
Norris, a psychologist with the Lake Tahoe Unified School District, said she was aware of Balestrero’s growing operation but believed it was legal under California’s medical marijuana laws. (more…)

Charas Medical marijuana. This mostly indica strain 80/20 from northern India is a very relaxing smoke, perfect for evening or night time smoke, the high creeps up on you first you feel a little hazy and then you realise you are totaly stoned, the high can last for 3-4 hours! it has a hashy earthy taste, this strain would be benifical for medical users with insonmia and stress. 

Honey oil is a concentrate made with Butane. The stuff is so strong that it boils when released! Just dab the end of a paperclip, and drip it onto the bowl..it might be hard with its stickyness so use a lighter if necessary. A cautionary note, one dot will be too much! I made a little honey bud with it, by dipping an entire nug into the oil and freezing it onto a plastic sheet, or whatever you end up using. The end product will be miraculous. This stuff is no joke. Another word of advice is dont get it onto your fingers, normal soap wont get rid of the smell, or stain no matter how many times you wash them. Also eating it will mess you up, and will give you a stomach ache, I learned it the hard way…

In the last column, I criticized the strict parenting techniques the RCMP suggested at a DARE presentation as being unrealistic. But even more off target were the opinions about substance abuse at SRHS. First off, to the parents and administrators that were shocked at the actual amount of substance abuse going on, I have to say, “Get your heads out of the sand.” As for the statistics and views presented, I felt they were very misleading and biased towards one vice in particular while letting others off the hook. Forwarding an announcement from the ASA list about US House Judiciary Committee Chairman Conyers letter to Acting DEA Administrator Leonhart sent this afternoon!
The letter demands that she answer questions about the agency’s ongoing interference and intimidation in California before July 1. This letter brings us one step closer to Congressional hearings on DEA activity in California, and represents a tremendous success for medical cannabis providers on the federal level. It is our hope that these hearings will make further DEA interference politically unpalatable for the Justice Department, while putting more fuel on the fire for Congressional action on medical cannabis.

Chairman Conyers’ letter is not likely to make national news, but it is an important turning point in this broadest and most protracted DEA attack on patients’ access. What happens next depends on how effective we can be. Please have a look at the action alert in the “May Action Alert” folder in the files section of the yahoo Group to find out if you live or work in one of the six strategic districts represented by a California Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee. Chairman Conyers needs there support, and they need to hear from us!

This strain originated in Butte County, it might be hard to find this strain since It was hybridized by a family friend.  They now sell T-shirts that say I love Butte county’s Bubbleberry Crack!  Fantastic set of genetics (Green Crack X Bubblegum X Blueberry) Immediate head stone….its stupifying…very euphoric. You feel it near your third eye and sinks into your body.
